This website is operated by EmpowerEd Microschool ("we," "us," or "our"), a microschool and Changemaker Education Microschool Partner. This policy explains what information we collect through [school website] (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you fill out our contact form, we collect the details you choose to share, which may include:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address and, optionally, your phone number
- Your child's age or grade level
- What you're interested in, how you heard about us, and your message

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. This is used to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and prevent spam and abuse. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

How We Share Information
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site and respond to you, and only as needed for that purpose. These include our website hosting and email delivery provider (Cloudflare), the secure database where contact form submissions are stored (Supabase), and the content management system that holds the Site's text and photos (Sanity). The Site also loads fonts from Google Fonts and code libraries from a public content delivery network, which may receive your IP address as part of delivering those files.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety and rights of our students, families, staff, or others.
Children's Privacy
This Site is intended for parents and guardians. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
Information about students who enroll is handled separately through our enrollment process and is not covered by this website policy.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep contact form submissions and related messages for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain our relationship with your family, and then delete them when they are no longer needed.
How We Protect Information
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on the systems that store submissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you've shared with us, or to stop contacting you, at any time by emailing [school@email.com].

The Site links to other websites, such as Changemaker Education, our social media pages, and any application or donation pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites, and we encourage you to review their policies.
